T1DL has an alliance partnership with JDRF for members who choose to be involved with their mission.  The T1DL group will be provided with research information and resources on a quarterly basis via the group leader who will be included in research update events.
 
All T1DL members are welcome to “opt-in” to receive invitations to chapter events (Walk, Gala, Best of Illinois), and would be sent the quarterly chapter outreach e-newsletter. Those who “opt-in” would also be invited to outreach events that pertain to adults with type 1.
 
This partnership enables us to work closely with JDRF who exists for the sole purpose of finding a cure.
