Come For the Support
Living with diabetes is a constant challenge, and connecting with others in the same situation can help us feel less alone. We really "get it" when it comes to life with diabetes and support one another by sharing information, experiences and coping-strategies. It helps to know you're not alone and to talk to others who have been through similar experiences.
Meeting with a group of understanding individuals on a regular basis can help you to feel motivated to follow through on goals. An environment of positive reinforcement, emotional support and hopefulness can encourage you to take good care of yourself.
